One of the biggest #digital challenge faces by Europe is linked to social media.

A part of revenue earn by influencers come from product placement. Those placements are for an important part scam products or in worst case, ghost products or even counterfeit. Influencers show brand or luxury products but followers receive poor quality products, when they receive it, or even illegal products from counterfeit or scam. In the most post, they also add a promotion code for product drop-shipped that cost nothing.

Europe must protect buyers from those practices.

One solution could be to create European laws and dissuasive fine for those who sold those kind of product. To the influencers and/or the agency that propose those kind of partnerships but also and above all the firm. A digital authority dedicated on social media should be created in order to prevent, control and punish those misleading practices.
